I found a ton of songs that are hard to find in local music stores. The ala carte ability to pick singles from albums for 99 cents or a full album for 10 bucks is a great feature. Buying this way allows me unlimited burns to CD's. Gone are the days of returning to the music store to re-purchase a CD that has been lost or damaged. All this convenience from the comfort of my laptop and my PJ's. Download speeds where 175kbs avg.. This is most definately the way to go. If they are trying to cash in on the old Napster by using the name, they are kidding themselves. The throngs of people that used the old Napster know what it was and what is was good for, and they are savvy enough to know what the new one is. Those folks aren't going to suddenly decide that "oh, hey, I think I'll PAY for music now because Napster is up again!" when they can still use Kazaa and such. I did have a streaming glitch yesterday with the WMP9 client, where all I would get is 30-second cuts of each song...I switched over to the regular Napster client, and all was well (full song streams).
