		<description>Brad, the date you refer to is already there, in a user-defined field called "Publish Date".  If you search the &lt;a href="http://newsgator.mykbpro.com" rel="nofollow"&gt;knowledge base&lt;/a&gt; for "Publish Date", you'll find instructions for adding it.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;
On the second item, are you talking about new vs. existing IE windows? Depending on your Outlook/browser combination, you may be able to adjust this with the Advanced IE settings.

1. Read in the date created on the RSS feed and stuff that into the Created column date. It's more interesting to know when the post was read, not when it was downloaded.

2. Add a right click to URLs to open in a new window, if possible. :)
