I was struck by the colors while waiting for my latte this afternoon. I think I might try another variation of this shot when I have a more capable camera with me; my P5000 seems to have struggled a bit here.
This is a pedestrian bridge over the highway at a light rail station…when I got to the middle of the bridge, I knew this was going to be today’s picture.
The harsh sidelighting made this more interesting than it normally is. Slightly. 
But really, how often do we really even notice this sort of thing? I know I rarely do.
Sometimes, even when there is no story to tell, the shadows tell a story.

It’s funny – I had another photo that I was planning to use for today…but I was looking through some shots I took at lunchtime, and this one stood out to me. So this one it is!
