I was struck by the colors while waiting for my latte this afternoon. I think I might try another variation of this shot when I have a more capable camera with me; my P5000 seems to have struggled a bit here.
This is a pedestrian bridge over the highway at a light rail station…when I got to the middle of the bridge, I knew this was going to be today’s picture.
The harsh sidelighting made this more interesting than it normally is. Slightly. 🙂 But really, how often do we really even notice this sort of thing? I know I rarely do.
Sometimes, even when there is no story to tell, the shadows tell a story.

It’s funny – I had another photo that I was planning to use for today…but I was looking through some shots I took at lunchtime, and this one stood out to me. So this one it is!

I was prowling around in my kitchen, looking for a shot, when this one hit me! I like the brown surroundings; they seem to go well with the ginger ale theme.
